PENANG: The 4th edition of the Penang International Property Expo 2009 (PIP’09), which begins on March 27, is expected to attract about 30,000 visitors to the three-day event.

There will be about 40 exhibitors including Mah Sing Group Bhd, SP Setia Bhd, CIMB Bank Bhd and HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd at the exhibition to be held at the Penang International Sports Arena  (PISA).

Visitors can expect innovative and creative offers and packages for over 300 products. They will also have an opportunity to listen to the experts on issues including “High-rise living and management” and  “Elements of fraud in property transactions”.

There will also be panel discussions on “Implications of George Town world heritage listing on the real estate market” and the “Malaysia My Second Home” programme.

The inaugural PIP Property Network for developers and trade professionals will also be held after the opening ceremony to be officiated by the State Executive Councilor for Housing, Town and Country Planning, Wong Hon Wai;

Another highlight of the exposition will be the MNP Auction – where 50 properties will come under the hammer.

On March 29, the delegates from the FIABCI regional summit delegates will be participating in the forum entitled, “The state of the property market’.  The exposition is organised by PIP Creation Sdn Bhd.
